Part time Office Assistant in Aarhus
- On-site
- Aarhus
Job description
Are you currently in upper secondary school and looking for a part-time job alongside your studies? Do you like keeping things organised and getting things done when something needs fixing? Then this could be the job for you!
Context& is an IT consultancy helping both private and public sector customers with projects that create measurable results. We are more than 430 colleagues across six offices in Denmark and Finland.
Your role as an Office Assistant
There are lots of little things that need to come together to make an office a great place to be. The fruit needs to look fresh and inviting, Friday breakfast needs to be ready and welcoming, and there needs to be coffee, order and well-organised meeting rooms.
As an Office Assistant, you will be an important part of everyday life at our Aarhus office and share responsibility for making it a great place to work. You will make your rounds, notice when something is missing or needs a little attention, and take the initiative to get it sorted.
Your tasks will include:
making sure we have coffee, drinks, snacks, fruit and office supplies
coordinating Friday breakfast, Friday treats and other social activities
keeping the kitchen, meeting rooms, shared spaces and storage areas tidy and organised
handling access cards, parking, packages and deliveries
coordinating with cleaning staff, building services, our plant service and other suppliers
keeping an eye on the coffee machine, dishwasher and Quooker to make sure everything is working
helping out at events and taking care of practical tasks that come up during the day
In short, you will be an important part of what keeps the office and everyday life running smoothly. You will be one of those people who makes everything work, even if others do not always notice all the work happening behind the scenes. And that is exactly why the role is so important.
Who do we imagine you are?
We are not looking for someone who simply waits for the next task. We are looking for someone who notices what needs doing and does something about it.
What matters most to us is that you:
take responsibility, can work independently and are not afraid to get stuck in
are good at noticing what is missing or what needs to be done
enjoy creating order and doing things properly
are helpful, approachable and enjoy making everyday life a little better for others
can keep track of several small and larger tasks at the same time
speak and write Danish and are comfortable communicating in English
You do not need to have done all of this before. What matters most is that you are considerate of others, have an eye for detail and are willing to take responsibility for your own part of our workplace.
We imagine that you have started upper secondary school and are looking for a job you can have alongside your studies for the next few years. We hope to find someone who would like to become part of the office and get to know both the workplace and the people here.
The job is approximately 15 hours per week, spread across the week. We will take your school schedule into account, so the hours are flexible and can be adapted accordingly. We also know that school life is not the same throughout the year. When you have exams, major assignments or other busy periods, we will of course work it out together.
