Job description

Are you passionate about ensuring that the numbers add up, invoices are handled correctly, and that there is a strong attention to detail in bookkeeping through close collaboration with colleagues? Then you might be our next Financial Accountant.

At Context& we work with Microsoft solutions, always with AI as an integrated part. We are more than 330 colleagues across five offices in Denmark, collaborating with both public and private clients on projects that deliver measurable results.

You will become part of a community where we set high standards for quality and work together to solve tasks through knowledge sharing and close collaboration. With us, you’ll join a workplace where professional development, flexibility, and community go hand in hand.

The Finance Team at Context&

You will join our finance team, where we have established structures and processes, yet remain curious about how we can continuously improve and automate our workflows.

You’ll experience close collaboration and knowledge sharing with colleagues who are passionate about finance and accounting – and who take pride in delivering high-quality work. We work closely with the rest of the organization and are responsible for everything from daily bookkeeping to reporting, follow‑up, and optimization. We are a service-oriented department that ensures reliable data and a strong financial foundation.

You will become part of our finance team, which – in addition to you – consists of our CFO, our Finance Manager, 2 Financial Controllers, 3 Business Controllers, 3 Financial Accountants, and 4 student assistants. Here, you will collaborate closely with colleagues who share your enthusiasm for finance and accounting.  You will take on a role with a clear focus on daily bookkeeping and financial operations, while controlling, analysis, and follow‑up are handled by other colleagues in the team.

Your Responsibilities

  • Daily bookkeeping of financial transactions (debit/credit)

  • Invoicing, accounts receivable, and accounts payable management

  • Bank postings and reconciliations

  • Month‑end and year‑end closing (preparation only – no analysis)

  • Reporting to public authorities, including VAT

  • Ensuring accurate and timely registration in Business Central

A large part of your work will take place in Business Central, closely connected with our own systems, including xPM (which you can read more about here).

Your Qualifications

  • Has 3+ years of experience from a similar role, where bookkeeping is a key part of the job

  • Has a solid understanding of Danish VAT and accounting legislation

  • Thrives in a structured environment with clear processes and responsibilities, while also collaborating closely with the team to meet deadlines

  • Proficient in both Danish and English, written and spoken
