Senior Data Management & Fabric Consultant

What do we offer in this role?

You will take on a central role where technical delivery, customer-facing advisory, and Data Management consulting go hand in hand. The role has three distinct perspectives:

• Technical design and implementation: You will work hands-on with the architecture, design, and implementation of data solutions in Microsoft Fabric.

• Customer development and advisory: You will build customer relationships and act as a trusted advisor, translating needs and ambitions into direction, prioritized initiatives, and concrete next steps.

• Data Management and facilitation: You will design and facilitate workshops and work systematically with governance, prioritization, roadmaps, and sustainable delivery models.

The balance between these perspectives will vary from project to project, but they all require you to combine technical understanding with the ability to provide direction, facilitate decisions, and translate customer needs into concrete deliverables.

In this role, you will:

• Design and implement data solutions using Microsoft Fabric.

• Advise customers on how data and AI can be translated into concrete business initiatives.

• Develop relationships with existing customers, identify needs and opportunities, and translate them into roadmaps, prioritized initiatives, and concrete next steps.

• Help customers build internal support for data and AI initiatives across business functions, IT, and other stakeholders.

• Design and facilitate workshops and translate the outcomes into decisions, plans, and concrete deliverables.

• Advise on Data Management, governance, prioritization, CoE thinking, and collaboration between business and IT.

• Contribute to establishing sustainable delivery models that enable customers to continue working with data and AI initiatives in a structured way.

• Engage with potential customers where a relationship has already been established, qualify their needs, and define relevant next steps.

To succeed in the role, we expect you to have:

• Solid experience with data platforms in Microsoft Fabric and the ability to design and implement solutions that can operate effectively in production.

• Experience with business-oriented consulting and translating needs into roadmaps, prioritized initiatives, and concrete deliverables.

• Experience with customer-facing dialogue and stakeholder management, as well as the ability to build support for data and AI initiatives.

• Experience designing and facilitating workshops and translating outcomes into decisions, plans, and next steps.

• An understanding of Data Management, governance, prioritization, collaboration between business and IT, and the establishment of sustainable delivery models.

• A structured and methodical approach, with practical tools and methods for areas such as roadmap development, prioritization, governance, and stakeholder management.

• Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD, and ideally an interest in responsibly experimenting with AI in processes and solutions.

• Professional proficiency in both Danish and English, written and spoken.

In addition, it would be an advantage if you have:

• An understanding of data governance and security, ensuring that solutions can operate effectively in production and create real business value.

• Experience with data engineering best practices and technical experience with complex data pipelines.

• Experience with Power BI, DAX, Python, and notebooks.

• Microsoft certifications, such as DP-600 or DP-700.

Location and travel

You can be based in either Aarhus or Virum. However, part of our customer base is located in the Copenhagen area, so if you are based in Jutland, you should expect a couple of travel days per month.
