Business Controller

The finance team here at Context& 

You will join our dedicated Finance team, which – in addition to you – consists of our CFO, four Financial Controllers, two Business Controllers, one Financial Accountant, and two student assistants. Here, you’ll have close collaboration and knowledge sharing with colleagues who are just as passionate about finance and accounting as you are. 

We operate as a central service unit supporting the entire organization with reliable data – powered by tools such as Power BI – and ensure a strong financial foundation. The team works closely with colleagues across the business, taking responsibility for reporting, budget follow-up, and continuous optimization. 

Your responsibilities:

• Take ownership of budgeting and ensure continuous control and follow-up for some of our Business Lines 

• Calculate and analyze KPIs

• Drive forecasting processes and ensure accurate projections

• Manage cash flow and liquidity planning

• Participate actively in monthly ROB (Rythim of Business) meetings and present key financial insights to leadership

• Act as a trusted business partner, advising management and providing actionable financial insights

• Support decision-making for senior stakeholders across business units

• Ensure timely financial consolidation, variance analysis, and reporting

• Drive process improvements and automation initiatives using ERP and BI tools

Your qualifications 

Must-have: 

• 5 years’ experience in a Business Controller or similar financial role 

• Strong analytical mindset and excellent Excel skills (advanced functions, pivot tables) 

• Experience with financial reporting, forecasting, and KPI analysis 

• Ability to communicate financial insights clearly and confidently in both Danish and English 

• Relevant MSc or similar in Finance, Economics, or Accounting 

Nice-to-have: 

• Experience with ERP systems (Business Central) 

• Previous experience from a company in the professional service industry
